Today, we wanted to take time to remember friends from KENNEDY,
who have left us….all too soon.
Some of the class representatives gave us very complete lists, and others,
we pulled from a variety of sources.
There were too many names to do a proper profile on each of these
alumni…but if you have thoughts or info you’d like to share about any of
these mates, please feel free to leave a comment,
and we will post it on the blog.
We invite you to take the time to reflect, as we remember the names, the
faces, and the sweet sweet memories of cherished friends, and some dear
faculty, from our days of yore, at JFK.
“…our time with you was short,
but you will live on in our hearts and memories forever”

Thank you all for the posts. I just spent time going through the list and became sadden by all our classmates that are no longer with us. Didn’t have many good friends but knew so many…This tribute does honor to them all!
I will never forget Ms. Lancaster wanting me to run my fastest 50 yard dash one afternoon. I love to run the 50 and she ran against me to make me really give all I could. Well I did, and beat the school record that day!
Thank you Ms. Lancaster for pushing me to achieve my goal!

Lost Ms. Betty Lancaster 2010

Many people have crossed our paths will be truly missed. One that effect me the most is Debbie Deitrick. A friend of mine since 4th grade. Love and miss you.

What a great tribute to those who we grew up with and helped shape who we are. To those of us who are lucky enough to still be here, we still have a long way to go to spread our lifeforce and goodwill! Hope to see you in October. Regards, Mitch Hammontree ’72
